et us for a moment pause and give tribute to our Police Officers and Soldiers who have given up their lives so that we may live in the comfort of our homes; the sacrifices not only from these men but also of their families who reluctantly embraced the oath of their spouses to serve and honor this country. The peace they desperately try to maintain so that others may practice free speech and democracy.
Compared to what these men may be experiencing to this very day, our problems take an insignificant backdrop that really does not merit comparative cognizance. Let us bestow these men our heartfelt gratitude and long overdue recognition.
But life of our Police Officers and Soldiers are not all military nor routine. Light moments do make its presence felt. The humanity in all of us should never be taken for granted, in fact it should be the very reason for existing with our fellow countrymen.
