Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo

Who are you addressing  dear Executive Minister, the flock or your Council? clarity please.

jventilacionTo Brother Joe Ventilacion – A simple categorical question to  your explanation posted on Facebook regarding the Church Administration;   my question – if God placed Brother Eduardo V. Manalo as the Executive Minister of the Church can He also replace him if necessary?

By Brother Jose Ventilacion a Minister of the Church

My thoughts on some ministers and members who turned away from the faith
In the past few days, we have seen ministers who used the social media to resign from the ministry. We have read their reasons for doing such action. However, although their justifications for their resignations varied from one reason to another, they all just came down to one conclusion: they do not really believe that the Iglesia Ni Cristo is of God and Brother Felix Y. Manalo is the Messenger of God in these last days. Their turning away from the faith and departure from the ministry showed their shallow recognition of the authority of the Administration placed by God in the Church.
We are not surprised that even during these times there are ministers like Cayabyab who would use the podium to announce their departure from the ministry. In the past, Teofilo Ora and his company did the same thing when they rebelled against Brother Felix Y. Manalo. Even during the administration of Brother Eraño G. Manalo, the likes of Silvestre and Pajanel even put up their own religious group.

I will not be surprised if these expelled ministers would come out to the open and preach a different church or would use the name of the true Church to expound their twisted ideas and beliefs. Granting that someday you would encounter them, the first thing that you have to ask them is their authority. What is their right or authority to preach? Where and how did they obtain their right to preach?

True ministers in the Iglesia Ni Cristo obtain their right and privilege to preach from the authority of Brother Felix Y. Manalo. The Bible clearly proves his right to preach the gospel by virtue of the prophecies that attest to his commissioning. One of these prophecies is recorded in Revelation 7:2-3 wherein the “other angel” from the east and his companions will seal the servants of God. It is clear to us that the seal is the Holy Spirit in Ephesians 1:13 and it is being sealed when those who heard the preaching of the gospel believed it.

We firmly believe that the fulfillment of the Angel from the East who shall seal the servants of God is Brother Felix Y. Manalo and his companion (the ministers of the Iglesia Ni Cristo) have the right to preach the gospel. The authority to preach that God gave him is also obtained by the ministers who joined him in preaching the pure gospel.

Although there are some many preachers in our time, only the messengers of God speak in behalf of God and administer man’s reconciliation with God as it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20.
So if these expelled ministers would one day come out and start preaching, we should ask them: “from whom did you obtain your right to preach?”

Do you think these preachers who are not in the Church have the divine right to speak to us? Do you think that those who have ruined their faith like Hymenaeus and Alexander (who were given over to Satan) have the truth that would lead people to salvation?

If they are not associated with the Administration that God placed in the Church (Colossians 1:25), how could they be linked to Christ and ultimately to God? Remember what our Lord Jesus Christ said, “anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me” (John 13:20 NLT).
These false preachers would have a gigantic task ahead of them. They need to produce a person whom they would teach as the messenger of Christ so that they could link themselves to that person. However, that gargantuan endeavor is already an impossibility since there is no more work of salvation that would follow the work entrusted by God to Brother Felix Y. Manalo since what comes next is the Day of Judgment (Revelation 14:9-16).

Where would Cayabyab and the rest of the ministers and the brethren who turned away go for them to receive eternal life? That’s the same question raised by Apostle Peter to the Lord Jesus Christ when he and his companions were asked, “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter replied, Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God” (John 6:67-69 NLT).
To leave the Church of Christ is to leave Christ since Christ and His Church are just one. It is the Church that is related to Christ according to Ephesians 5:30-32. Apart from Christ means a person has no hope and has no God or without God (Ephesians 2:11-12).

These people who have turned away from the true Church should rekindle their faith. They should trust God in the way that Brother Felix Y. Manalo had done. Throughout his ministry, he trusted God. God did not leave him alone. We are the living witnesses to the help that God has given him. That’s the same message that Brother Eraño G. Manalo echoed to the faithful during his time and that’s the same message we hear from the present Church Administration through Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.
To the expelled ministers and members, where will your help come from? Where would your salvation come from? Who shall give you the promised eternal life? You have severed your link to the one who shall guide you to achieve these spiritual blessings.

We’ve faced myriads of problems in the past, both from the outside and inside of the Church. We’ve encountered severe trials and persecutions? Did God leave us alone? Did He not fulfill His promises to the entire Church (Isaiah 41:9-16)? Is our God too weak to solve our problems? Why did you try using your finite wisdom and ability to solve the present situations? Why did you not wait for God to act? Would it be hard for Him to remedy the alleged problems and dangers that the Church supposedly is facing? When will you realize that you are fighting a losing cause?

I will end my exhortation by challenging you to rethink your position and come back to your senses. If you would prefer to fight the Church and the Administration, me and the millions of ministers and members throughout the world will definitely stand against you! You could not overcome us since we have God on our side who placed Brother EDUARDO V. MANALO as the Executive Minister of the Church. We trust his dynamic leadership, we will follow him and will submit to his authority (Hebrews 13:17) come what may to our life or to this world. We will continue to pray for him that God would bless him with tremendous power and excellent wisdom so he could lead us in this perilous journey and eventually enter the holy city.)
